NMSEAM - Awareness Kits

What are Awareness Kits?

Awareness kits contain educational tools to help you raise awareness in your community during National MS Education and Awareness Month. They feature helpful, interesting information for patients, family members, healthcare workers, media, and the community at large. They also include suggestions for how you may put the information to use and how to share the materials with others. New awareness kits are available during February and March of each year. Like all MS Focus programs and services, the kits are offered free of charge.

Please note: Awareness kits are only available by mail inside the U.S., but much of the information in the kit will be made available to download worldwide.

When Requesting Kits:

Please note that each copy of the kit for people with MS contains one copy of the additional items that may be requested for the general public, so the person with MS can share in raising awareness. If you would like additional copies of these materials to share with friends, neighbors, and coworkers, you may order those separately. The additional items available include:

  • MS: Everything You Need to Know - this booklet explains MS in easy to understand terms. Share it with those who are unfamiliar with MS.
  • Finding the Help You Need - use this brochure to familiarize people with the important work of MS Focus and the free services available to people with MS.
  • Awareness wristbands - these ever popular flexible orange bracelets help raise awareness wherever you wear them.
